Taking the ADM Facebook Page Up an #AutoMarketing Notch

If there's one word that has exemplified the Automotive Digital Marketing community for the last several years, it's the word that Ralph knows I only use when appropriate: engagement.

ADM is a wonderful and vibrant collection of automotive professionals on both sides of the dealer/vendor aisle and we have always worked to keep this website at the top of the education and networking worlds for the industry.

Going forward, I will be working hand-in-hand with our fearless leader, Mr. Paglia, to take the community's Facebook presence to the next level.

We'll be posting the best content on and off of ADM that is designed to further the education factor, improve the networking potential, and highlight the members of the community that make this site and the industry in general better every day by their sheer presence. No automated feeds. No robotic interaction. We're going to be the social butterflies of the automotive industry.

Every week, we'll be adding a Featured #AutoMarketing Professional of the Week as well as a Featured ADM Dealer Professional to the Facebook page to highlight exceptional contributions to this community and the automotive industry in general.

Check out the page, like it, talk to us on it, share with people at your dealership or company, and do what we've always done best here - engage!

See you on Facebook.

You might rememember, from a previous post, me saying the same thing. I cringe to use the word "engagement," it's overused and not broken down granularly enough for my blood. I'll be the first to admit and you know from our conversations J.D. we don't have enough internal resources to populate our client social pages with enough content in order for them to convert as they should.

You might want to avoid me as a featured member, you're not going to get a lot of LIKES, LMAO! ha ha ha... I don't care, I tell it like it is. Do it right or don't do it and that includes re-analyzing the way we do it.

It's a pleasure, Ralph. Working directly with you on a project is one of the most exciting prospects I've had in a while.

Thank you JD... This is going to be a lot of fun and I know automotive professionals will benefit from your work. For me, it is exciting to continue to leverage the ADM Community as a means of driving innovation. For over six years this community has taught me many things about using social media to help dealers better engage with car buyers in their markets, than their competition. The more we put our heads together, compare notes and direct experience, the smarter we become as a group, and more successful we become in our professions, as individuals.
