Are You Investing in Digital Marketing Education?

Regardless of the vendor marketing slants regarding social media and digital marketing, it is clear that the automotive industry needs to invest in educating their employees on digital marketing. 

Equally as important is the need to attract the next generation of automotive sales and marketing professionals.  Most billion dollar industries have established Internships and educational programs for skills enhancement.  Somehow many car dealers never got that memo.

 

April Conferences For Education

 

Two great opportunities coming in April is the Automotive Marketing Boot Camp and the 10th Digital Dealer Conference.  I hope all ADM members are getting approvals from their dealerships to attend these powerful conferences.

Dealer principals attend 20 Group meetings 3-4 times a year.  However, the front lines eCommerce Directors and Internet Sales Teams rarely get the opportunity to learn from their peers and attend educational events.  This has to change.

I also attended last years conference and got so much out of it. All of the latest trends and ideas are discussed and explored in detail which puts you way above your competition. I am looking forward to this year and will definitely be there in April!

I attended last years conference, and it was a valuable learning and networking experience.  I look forward to the line-up of speakers this year and hope to make a positive contribution to the team!  By the way, Brian, my Sister loved your conference in NAPA.  She is full of ideas and enthusiasm after attending!  Thanks to you, your staff, and the other speakers for giving her a solid foundation in the digital world.

Based on the core material that you are presenting this will be your best Boot Camp yet. The beginner/advanced classes are a perfect format so that all can learn at their own pace. As proven in Napa, the speakers were really there to provide assistance to dealer personnel and I'm sure this will be no different. Looking forward to being involved.
