old as all get up EDS :-)
Tonia,

I asked a question a week ago which resulted in the following group:

http://www.automotivedigitalmarketing.com/group/ilmcrmwishlist

We are looking for a new CRM (perhaps just ILM at first) as well. We've had Reynolds Contact Management which is not so much an ILM and we did a stint with Dealersocket (almost three years ago for almost a year) which did not go well. I'll guess that DS has come a long way since then, but at the time, integration with our Reynolds DMS system and data security were our significant issues.

I'll just go with the theory that AA is far enough from Saginaw that we can share ideas without compromising sales. So far, my take on this has been that VinSolutions does have a strong product. Alas, I have yet to fully chase their competition, but I'll be piecing together my CRM hopes and see what develops.
I did see this discussion as well!! :-) When I was looking for previous post on the subject. I liked dealer socket but am not really hearing 100% or even 90% good. So I am starting to shy away from them and look at the other two. I had dealersocket and vinsolutions do demos for me last year but was not ready to move, NOW I am ready to move and am trying to see what everyone is using and what is working the best. I know if I make a move I am stuck for a little while!! I agree, Saginaw is a ways from A2!! We will be A OK, :-)
Don't let our bad experience bias you with DS, as it has been a couple years. Looking at VinSolutions seems to be right up there with buying a computer... it's a constantly changing product. I view that, and even Matt Watson's presence here as good things.
Are you EDS compatible
Of course I work for VS now but I used VS Full CRM/ILM/Inventory when I was over a Saturn group that of course used EDS and all worked just like Matt said.
The custom reporting is very nice. I really like the market comparison view. It would be nice if the edit vehicle window could size as the corner suggests. A big monitor with small window is frustrating. I really do find your "stay ahead of the curve" approach a strong selling point. Now if you could develop a strong DMS, provide an integrated IP phone system, buy out our current CMR contract and make that all exclusive within our market for about $200 a month...
I have seen some other not so good reveiws of dealersocket as well. I think I am going to have vin soulutions and imagic lab come out for a demo. I have wanted a new ILM andn have wanted to add the CRM for some time and FINALLY got my owner over to my side so I am golden! Just want to find the right one too :-)
Tonia....Dealer Socket is the only way to go with your DMS. They are by FAR the best solution. Call them and you will see!
I really liked Dealer Socket, Probably need to review them all three again and put together a list of wants and see who comes out on top. All three have a great product. I had heard of a few who were having problems with DS and I beleive that gave me pause. However, I should also consider that there is probably someone out there that has a had problem with all three at one time or another. Nothing being perfect :-)

Hello! We have EDS and use dealersocket for our Saturn franchise stores. We've had great success using Dealersocket. Our internet sales were up 78% last year.
