I've gone through five chat providers so far. Three of them were fine and I won't mention them. The other two were both pretty darn outstanding, strangely for different reasons. It's going to be hard to pick one over the other but after interviewing some dealers I'll be able to pick one.

If there are any other chat providers out there that want to throw their pitch in the hat, please let me know this week. If there are any dealers who want to recommend a provider, post them here and it will be taken into account.

I recommend Shereef and his team at CarChat24... Not only do they execute in a manner that is customer friendly and balances the need for getting customer data with the need to provide the customer with real-time interaction with a human being that knows the dealership and the products they sell, but of all the suppliers I have worked with over the past 7 years of operating the ADM Professional Community, Shereef and the CarChat24 team have demonstrated an incredibly high level of integrity and business ethics. Most businesses strive to reach the levels of honesty and trust worthiness that CarChat24 has already demonstrated to me on a direct and personal level.  They are simply the best... Period.

I agree with Ralph.  I used the big name providers for years and was reluctant to switch.  I truly didn't think it made that big of a difference.  If you're considering full service chat, CarChat24 is far and away the best option out there.  The company is small enough pay attention to your needs, but big enough to deliver better than typical providers.  My staff is freed up to work the leads that they provide, and I have 0 missed chat opportunities.  On top of it all, if you read through the transcripts, you'll find that the things these operators are saying are exactly what you want them to be saying.  Chat providers are mostly the same, but CarChat24 is made for the car business.  To me, that is what sets them apart.  

You all need to look into Engage to Sell, they don't advertise, Ralph I never endorse a product however Engage to sell blows everyone away. Look into it.  By the way no advertising anywhere, just results. 98% retention of clients.

We also use Engage to Sell... have been with them almost a year and a half and we ain't looking back. Excellent service, excellent price, they "get it". We get a lot of great leads, with phone numbers and detailed info. They really know how to chat.

Another for Engage to Sell. We have been using them for a little while now, and they provide excellent leads. There is a note that should be made - ETS is a chat service for just your website, not for use on thirdparty sites. When reviewing chat transcripts, the process is very smooth and the conversions are among our highest.

If you are looking for a chat service that is manned by your own staff, or for use on thirdparty sites, a lot of places use ContactAtOnce, but they are two very different uses. I have found the cost of maintaining and training our staff in house for our own website chat service, that ETS is the best option. We interviewed a lot of providers, and called on several dealers and were steered to ETS. We are pleased with the results.

We have used Engage to Sell for several months with great success. The team manages to get consistent results that really arm our salespeople with a lot of insight before we contact them. They are our highest close ratio to sale vendor.  The program couldn't be easier.

In a related note, the chat providers that have direct API integration to ROI-BOT reporting dashboard are Contact at Once!, Dealer eProcess, and Engaged to Sell.  We have a file loader for Gubagoo.  Since you will be leveraging ROI-BOT for your clients, this should also be a consideration.

I also agree with Engage to Sell we have 7 stores in Ohio and have tried many chat companies.  I signed up one of our stores as a test pilot for them and now all stores are signed.  They are by far the best ROI of any vendor we use. 

We switch from Contact at once to engage to sell. Best decision ever. Our chat leads double and is a 24/7 service. Last month we had 355 leads. In the past I also used Carchat24 and I switch for COA and COA for engage to sell. ETS Best service ever. There I said it!!!. Whooot whoot. VIVA ETS.!!!

There is a company out there that is an Active Chat Company. They have little ninja's that run on your web site. Engaging you customers that are browsing your web site. The Company is called CrossRoads.....You should try them out better yet shop KeyesAudi.com and see how they perform for you.
