Fremont Motor Company is a large, multi-franchise automotive dealer group located in Wyoming and Nebraska, with a global reach online. We are looking to develop a multiple-point Internet division to manage all Internet activity for the group. You will work out of the corporate office for a customer-centric dealer group where you will be responsible for the hiring, training, and management of a team of Internet Sales Managers, as well as controlling the online strategy for the group.
Description of Responsibilities
The E-Commerce Director will oversee, and will be accountable for, the performance and results of the individual Internet departments at each store in the Fremont Motor Company family. In addition, the E-Commerce Director is primarily responsible for keeping a watchful eye on lead management tools and maintaining the dealer group’s online presence. As such, the chosen candidate will be depended on to develop consistent online profitability, strong market penetration and maximize the dealership group’s brand image. The E-Commerce Director will also assist in hiring and training a 12-person Internet sales team, while working alongside an Internet Sales Training firm to build the curriculum. Analyzing key metrics, monitoring team performance, and ensuring the quality of customer engagement will be at the forefront of the E-Commerce Director position. It is Fremont Motor Company’s goal to create a corporate Internet strategy that is trained and utilized by all Internet team members at the multiple dealership locations.
*As a member of the corporate team, the chosen candidate will have full control over the dealer group’s Internet initiatives, working alongside both the Director of Marketing and a consulting firm to develop and enhance the Internet operations of the group of dealerships. This is a big opportunity to start as an executive within a large and successful group of dealerships.
