Is anyone using I saw some content about their services but it was a lttle unclear. If so, can you please provide feedback. I'm thinking about decreasing the AT budget and adding this service. I like the fact that "search" is their focus and not lumping 10,000 cars together like Autotrader with the highest paying dealers showing first. How is their VSEO? Any thoughts? Results?

We unfortunately just got rid of them. Hate to say bad things...but we just didn't get what we were told we were going to get. Thier listings looked good, the Videos were nice, but we just never received the amount of leads we were told we were going to get...We received almost no VIN Specific leads, which was supposed to be the majority and the ones we got were so few and far between it ended up not being worth it. It was presented in a way that we were supposed to get 30 leads a month guaranteed vin specific and mostly what we received were Service Leads and it was no where near the amount. So we felt as if we got pitched something that never came close to living up to expectations. Sorry I couldn't say good things.

I have had luck with Dealix, but I have found with them and a few others it really depends on your market. I did really well in Las Vegas with them. I did very well in Orem a small town in Utah...and do ok in Salt Lake City with them. They have been consistantly the best closing ratio of any of our 3rd Party Leads where ever I have gone. is the same way. We recently have signed back up with their new program to see what the new improvements have done. Can give you more in depth in another month or so with them.

We get ZAG leads here at the Salt Lake Store and seem to do very well with those..Though before this store I never heard of them.

Really have been focused on driving the Traffic to our Dealer Website and trying to give up having to take on 3rd Party Lead Providers. Luckily with all the added content, Pages I have Built on our site, and call to action buttons I have added throughout we have increased our Lead production from a low 45-60 leads a month to 125-150 and climbing. There is a ton that all of us can do to get better production out of our dealersites and we all know that the closing ratio is far better...

so I would also suggest taking a look at your site and see what you could add or change to build more leads there as well. We had a great discussion on this subject and there are great suggestions right here, take a look click here
have you monitored the number of leads that come from your own site that started on a 3rd party site? Most dealers that think they can be successful driving lead traffic from their site, without the 3rd party sites involved fail. Successful site transfers result into the highest quality leads - it's best NOT to judge a 3rd party site from only lead volume.

Actually very much so, we constantly check referral traffic and what is driving traffic to our Website besides Search Engines. Also monitor everything about them, time on site, lead generation, Phone Calls, Walk In Traffic etc. Your own Website will always generate better quality, more relevant, and higher closing leads than 3rd part vendors. This is and has been fact for a very long time. The conversation here was on everycarlsited and not all 3rd Party Vendors. All together ( whom we have finalized our cancellation today ) did very little for traffic referrals to our site, did extremely little in generating quality leads. ( Whether it is a Phone Up, Walk In, or E-mail Lead ) After all Lead Generation is what this topic is all about. Does it drive traffic ( Not for us - There videos and SEO was 3-4 pages deep because of our Sites SEO and SEM ) Does it generate Lead Conversion on our Website or through their Listing Page Site ( Not very much at all...So Cost per lead was very High due to this )

So looking at every aspect..even including foot traffic ( not nearly enough LEAD GENERATION to constitute staying with them ) Notice I did put up three Providers that were doing well for us. Obvioulsy 3rd Party Lead Providers have their place and can be very helpfully, this is why I named the ones that worked for us best. Of course we judge Lead Providers on many different aspects..but they are LEAD PROVIDERS so if you are not getting a good ROI why on earth would you keep them?
I use everycarlisted right now, I know i was promised to get ALL vin specific leads, and I have not gotten 1. I have spoken with the sales rep, and he has yet to get back with for an answer, and it has been several days. The one good thing I can say, is that their search optimization is great. I feel like I am echoing David, but it seems to be an ongoing issue with them.
We got nothing but garbage from everycarlisted. I rate them as one of the sites that push us off of page one and sell advertising with our inventory pushing thier SEO as Brian Pasch outlined in his blog. I have removed all of my inventory from their site. Hopefully in another week or two I will be in full control of where my inventory is.
Thanks everyone for your feedback. We are trying it too for three months. I immediately sent in my cancellation form (no matter what product we are buying/trying our practice is to cancel it). This eliminates the ever famous "auto renew" clause hidden in contracts and thereafter we can go month-to-month if we feel it's beneficial. So, if they don't perform then I would consider it a fraction of our one month Auto Trader bill for three months of trying something new. I will keep everyone posted on my results. If they didn't have the "everycarlisted" verbiage in the first still of the video then it would definitely be a "no-brainer" as you are able to integrate their videos through your other media- websites, YouTube, etc. I believe they use Sister technologies as well. This would shave costs off our other video products.
I know vests heavily into payperclick then sell you the leads derrived. Any dealer utilizing the PPC medium is in direct competition against everycarlisted for leads.
Hmmm, I never saw a sponsored search but it may be geographical. It seems they focus on organic searching, at least in our Chicago market. I wouldnt want them to compete with us in the sponsored search either.
I didn't see that either, as far as PPC, their listings would normally show up page two, three, or even father back on most everything I could find for us. But this is because of the heavy SEO, SEM, strategy we have in place. Though I had seen them on page one for a lot of my competiting brand lsitings. Thier videos were nice, but as you said their branding made it only useful on their site.Would have been nice to use those for other sites, then would have gotten some use from them.

We finally got out of our contract and the other Dealers in our Group are sure to follow suit. Just really didn't like the broken promises, no real answers to our concerns, then the last straw being that the free leads wereexplained wrong to us - we apologize, but here is what it really is. This is why we cut them loose. Not getting what we signed on for as well as being told that what we had signed up for was explained wrong, and not liking what we were getting for the $.
Thanks David! If I don't see it working then I'm going to pull the plug ASAP as well! I am not counting service leads either as that wasn't explained to me. They better not think that will be counting. I have just integrated their leads with my ILM so it will be easier to track.
