How much ROI is there in reducing the sales staff turnover rate in a dealership? What's the ROI on increasing the number of volunteers from a dealer group for a popular local charity by a factor of 10x? When 2,500 people read a blog article from a service customer raving about how well the dealership treated him and how amazed he is that they found out he had a problem by the OWNER watching a tool that monitors Twitter, seeing his complaint and then proactively contacted him to resolve his complaint... Stating "I can't imagine why anyone in San Antonio would want to buy a car at any other dealership...", what's the ROI on a blog article like that which the dealer neither solicited or paid for?

Tom D's comment really gets to the root of the ROI issue for many dealers... If you tried to take Social Media Marketing and their community away from the Ancira Auto Group right now, you would have quite a battle with over 100 employees saying "This is OUR community!"
