One of my favorite pearls of wisdom in this clip is the identification of measurable objectives BEFORE launching a social media marketing campaign... All too often, I see dealers either outsouring or hiring people to implement social media marketing and only later do they ask for measurement criteria and reporting.  It is easy to debate which measurements to use, but the idea of implementing social media campaigns (or any other marketing initiative) without establishing measurement points is simply poor management practice and does not have anything to do with understanding social media marketing or not.

Thanks so much for sharing this great video JD. Social Media marketing & advertising can generate leads...you just have to do it right!  The platforms are free (they're designed that way to attract you) but the rest is not.  It's a different mindset than the old ways and I'm so happy to see some dealers taking advantage of it.
