Comment by Scott Empringham on July 16, 2009 at 11:08pm: It took less than a day to make it to a person in Dearborn who made the call to someone, who made the call to someone, who made the call to someone, who made the call to me. No reason was given. Honestly, I think it was the wrong decision. The bummer was this: it was getting a great reaction from the intended audience--young men. 300+ views in less than 2 hours, dozens of funny comments...one of the fastest moving videos I've ever worked on to date. and we hadn't even started the video SEO to grow the views. Nevertheless, I have a great deal of respect for the person I think made the call, so despite my creative difference of opinion, and at his request, I pulled it. We'll keep pushing the envelope on their behalf...and my gut tells me we'll have some other really good ones. In fact, the next one we're launching is one of our favorites--and should sit well with the powers that be.
