@ Ralph - lol! Well...... I don`t know about the "kinky side deals" - lol!
& you re right....... I work, work &

But like you said, "I`m just one guy"........ I`m sure that there will be plenty of "Video Authorities" in Vegas that will be more than happy to explain how to do videos the "right" way(& maybe even take their money in doing so... & that`s their business)

As for me.....well........ quite a few people at our dealerships, including the Owner of Douglas, know that I`m on ADM & usually know what I`m up too & what I post(hey...... ohhhhhhh nooooo! they can see this too!!!! lol)

We talked about this once before DD in Orlando Ralph....... remember? YOU said you understood & that you could see from his point of view in regards to not wanting too "expose" me. As much fun as I had & with what I picked up talking to others at the DD in Nashville last October, I just don`t see this happening....... & I certainly do not want to cause "waves" at Douglas. After all, when it`s all said & done...... I work for the Douglas Auto Group.

So I guess I`ll stay in the darkness & shadows, commanding my covert marketing strategies & operations & communicate with everyone here through ADM & via the videos.

Thanks again...... & thanks for the offer Ralph........... hey..... did you make me an offer??? lol!

Ken... I have single handedly put together all sorts of kinky side deals with hair all over them to get over 100 people from dealerships, car companies and within ADP to attend the 9th Digital Dealer show in Las vegas.

You are ONE GUY!!! How hard can it be???

Can you get sick for a few days???

Can another grandparent die?

Don't you have any Jury Duty letters floating around???

Can you say you had to tgo to DC to straighten out the Obama Administration?

All you ever do is work, work, work... C'mon! Take a break! Come on out to Vegas and win some money... Hang with your brothers and sisters in arms and maybe tip a few iced teas?!?!

Would love to get you out there...

@ My friend Ralph - Well....first off, thank you very much for the nice words, I really do appreciate it. You know I like to read all of the great forums/discussions on ADM & I have recommended quite a few folks in the car biz to join. I do belong to a couple of other auto marketing sites i.e. Dealer Refresh, Dealer Elite,.... but I always hang my hat at ADM.

Now ummmmmmmmmm...... as for Joe Verde DVD`s.......... lol! Maybe I need to cut an instructional! Yeah that`s it! "Walk-Around with Ken - take the right steps!" Then maybe cut a whole series on "The Secrets of Ken Beam`s Guerilla Marketing Strategies" Alright last one! "The X-Factor... Ken Beam`s Covert-Marketing Techniques"!!!!

I don`t know Ralph........ lol......... Hollywood ain`t callin`! - lol!!!

Now as for coming to DD in Vegas,..... my friend...... we had this discussion when you graciously offered to fly me to Orlando to go the DD Conference(just had to say this, `cause when you Google "Good People"... RP is on the 1st page in my book), the Dealer Principal won`t permit me to attend functions such as Digital Dealer & NADA.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I guess all the nice folks on ADM can just catch up with me here..... or YouTube!~lol!

& you`re correct when you said , "For no financial incentive" - lol........ In the words of another cool guy from Jersey, Mr. Bruce Springsteen, "I ain`t here on business baby, I`m only here for fun!" -lol

But then again...... if Uncle Ralph or my other "Uncle" on here, Phil Zelinger, wanna "Show Me The Money" ...... I`m in! -lol!

Thank you Ralph for a great, informative site & thanks to all of you out there that click that "Play" button on my clips.

Here's a few numbers for you to consider when watching a Ken Beam video... Among his most recent vehicle presentation video clips posted to the ADM Professional Community, they have racked up the following "Views" counts to date: 920, 855, 672, 480, 352, 300, 320, 693, 760, 576, 405, 312... That's a total of 6,645 video views of a dozen clips from ADM Community members for Ken Beam's vehicle presentation clips... I know dealer groups with more employees than ADM has members, and that have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on Joe Verde DVD's that have not received anywhere near that many views!

And, Ken shares them with us so we can learn how to do a better job... For no financial incentive.

Thank you, Ken!

Come to Digital Dealer in Las Vegas and let me Toast you at the ADM Member reception on October 12, 2010 at 8:00PM at the Mirage... Be my guest!

BTW... In case anyone has not already noticed. Check out how many plays Ken Beam's videos on ADM consistently get. It stands to reason that if they always get more plays than just about any other videos on ADM, then that pattern is most likely repeated everywhere else they are posted.

@KenBeam - You mentioned TOMA, and I wanted to thank you for it. When it comes to selling cars, TOMA is the other half of why "Word of Mouth" is such a powerful marketing reality. Top of Mind Awareness drives the majority of vehicle purchases in this country today, and for the foreseeable future. Many of the reasons why I am so involved with Social media is because of TOMA... Ultimately, that is the "Killer App" in most Automotive Digital Marketing success stories, whatever created the most TOMA among the most people for the least amount of money!

@ Paul - I agree totally. We have quite a bit of success with the clips that I put out. You know we certainly do not sell every car from the videos...but,.... it`s also about TOMA(Top Of the Mind Awareness)....keeping your name out there in some shape or form(or video!). Thanks again & keep up the good work!

@ Ken, thanks. I wasn't suggesting yours were dry or anything. I really dug it. . I was just commenting on how REAL video is what does the trick. On the fly is fresh and exciting even. Even if there are mistakes. The goal is to generate more phone calls and sales And I think people kind of respect it in a weird way. I am glad to see you are taking advantage of the power of video. Frankly dealers who aren't have no excuse. Good Job.
