 I believe that in order to be successful in the auto industry we need to have some innate natural talent and to be students of our craft. We as human beings have the capability to learn anything. Without focus, persistence and passion for what we have been taught, the lessons are futile.

I agree with Ernie. When Jordan was at the top of his career he was practicing 5 hours per day. Talent will take you there, hard work, training and effort will keep you there and beyond.

You sum up much of what I have seen to be true.  I believe a person needs to possess traits that allow them to naturally interact with others as well as have a high degree of perseverance.  I also believe that sales skills and selling can be a learned behavior and if a person follows a process they can increase their success.
