Title: Training Manager

As part of the Cars.com training team, my responsibilities include training our direct sales force on the Cars.com suite of products, the ins and outs of how a store operates, and most of all, how to show our customers (dealers) the value of Cars.com.

Unlike many people on ADM, I have never sold a car, or worked in a store. My background is technical training, and what I bring to the table is a passion and vast knowledge of technology. My goal is to take the power of technology (mainly internet) and help our dealers utilize, and feel comfortable with, the ever changing work of tech. From SEO/SEM to the basics of Internet Explorer, I want to make sure when I leave a store that our customer feels comfortable in front of their pc, and have enough knowledge on Cars.com to take advatange of our tools, including reporting, maximizing exposure, and getting the most for the money they spend.

The combination of live in-person training, and the ability to be the self proclaimed geek tha t I am, is about as good as it gets for me.

If you ever have question about technology, the internet, or any online medium, feel free to reach out to me. I am not in sales, and although I do think Cars.com is #1, my opinions and suggestions will be unbiased.

It is great to see you here... I am in my home office getting prepared for next week's Digital Marketing Consulting visit to a Ford dealership... And, despite the fact that I should be doing something else, like expense reports, I just had to go online to see if there were any new Automotive Digital Marketing Group members for me to welcome.
