Will These 4 Excuses Prevent Your Dealership From Growing?

I talk to hundreds of automotive professionals a month and less than 25% of these passionate business professionals attend annual automotive conferences on a regular basis.

If you add in the dealership's Fixed Operations Manager, GSM, ISM, or Social Media/Content writer that percentage drops even further.

The reasons dealers don't invest in education more aggressively will be covered in a minute, but first ask yourself about your commitment to educate yourself.

When you consider what the average monthly operations and automotive advertising budget for a car dealer, one can quickly see how savings can add up with even as little as a 1% upward change in profits.

Consider what happens when dealers increase the conversion of existing leads and traffic by 2-5%. Consider what happens when dealers increase Fixed Operations Revenue by 10%.  Dealers are seeing these results after investing in education and implementing what they have learned.

What if your sales team could be significantly increasing sales each month using social networking? Could video marketing increase your local search dominance?  Get the straight answers from experienced marketing professionals by participating in quality educational conferences.

Education provides dealers with new strategies to market their business and connect with local consumers.  Education creates empowered dealers that make smart decisions.

Taking Education On The Road

PCG has taken a bold step to take quality automotive educational conferences on the road by announcing a six city tour in the US and Canada. The first date in the PCG Pit Stop tour is June 11th-12th in Chicago at the Palmer House hotel.

Isn't it time for dealers to INVEST in the managers of their key profit centers? With a small investment, dealers can innovate and accelerate their business model. So what is the hold-up?

4 Excuses That Block Educational Investments

The four most common excuses dealers make for not participating in educational conferences are:

  • Travel Costs
  • Time Out of Dealership aka "We Are Too Busy"
  • Quality of Courses
  • Courses Don't Address Distinct Dealership Roles

And our response to those excuses:

  1. The cities selected offer inexpensive for airfare for dealers in surrounding states. For example, flights from NJ to Chicago are under $250. Dealers in California can easily travel to LA with multiple flights per day.
  2. The dates that were selected were chosen to minimize time out of the dealership. Attendees can leave on Saturday afternoon and return home Sunday night. An added bonus is that in some states, dealerships are closed on Sunday which further minimizes time out of the dealership.
  3. The quality of the workshops coordinated by PCG Digital Marketing have received the praise of the dealers who have attended past conferences.. If you want to hear what your peers are saying about PCG educational events, watch this video: PCG Pit Stop Conferences
  4. Finally, the PCG Pit Stop Conferences have courses specifically designed for important job responsibilities. We have workshops for Dealer Principals and General Managers. We have workshops for Fixed Operations Managers, which by the way is one of the biggest opportunities for growth using innovative digital marketing strategies. We have workshops for GSM and eCommerce Directors so there is a full program for everyone. See suggested classes below:

Best of all dealers can send three members of the team for only $995 which includes all meals, materials, and training workshops.

Excuses? Well we have demonstrated that they don't hold water when you consider the opportunities that the PCG Pit Stop Conferences offer .

Download PCG Pit Stop Brochure

Take a minute to read or download the PCG Pit Stop color brochure. The brochure lists the cities, dates, and workshops that are available to car dealers in the US and Canada.

Sign-up in advance since seating is limited and some cities will sell out in advance of the actual conference dates.

Industry Sponsors

Vendors that serve the car dealers can contact Carrie Hemphill to discuss exhibitor space and sponsorship opportunities at each location. We are very excited to have a growing list of industry sponsors that include Dealer eProcess, CAR-Mercial, Presto Reviews, cDemo, Car Gigi, KPA, Contact At Once, and the Automotive Advertising Network.
