SEO lets you sort of bypass your competition on search engines like Google and helps you gain more traffic by putting you on top search. With a good SEO, you can be sure of getting more organic traffic than ever before. Now it is a complicated and tedious method, especially, when Google keeps updating its algorithm now and then.

Firstly, in recent times, due to its updates, Meta tags are no longer indexed in Google as they used to be before and thus these simple texts that usually come along with the link to the search results when someone searches for similar products won't be helping you land up on top search. That doesn't mean you should abandon this altogether but just make sure to include a compelling and relevant description with it. Also, the numbers of inbound links won't be helping you anymore in giving your site the top priority that you seek. Page rank and keyword preferences also have changed drastically. Now it's quality over quantity and Google prefers that you give relevant keywords rather than just a bunch of random keywords to increase the number.

White-hat SEO is a proper optimization, and black-hat SEO is quite .... Even though both may give you great results, the latter one is likely to put you in trouble in the long run by banning you on online platforms so it is better to steer clear of it as your brand’s reputation might be at stake.

Black –hat SEO methods include keyword stuffing, use of invisible text, creating fake pages and page swapping while back linking, keyword analysis and link building are white-hat SEO that you should be using in the first place.
