So last week VW rolled out a teaser of it's potentially car-less ad scheduled for the "Big Game" this Sunday. Now we have Toyota's Wish Granted ad, which seems to have the 'big three' for charm and appeal:
It also hints at an overweight dad and goes a bit retro with the 90's song, I Wish by rapper Skee-Lo. One other thing it has that Volkswagen is missing: A car - or in this case, a crossover SUV - the Toyota RAV4. For ME, the Toyota ad is more fun, while still piquing my interest in their new product.
So is it better just to make you feel good, as VW did with their ad (at the bottom), or make you feel good AND feel good about their product? I give the global sales leader TWO THUMBS UP for their effort!
