I've been told over the last few days that what I am doing (offering my app platform for free) is nothing more than a marketing gimmick and something that Shift Automotive Apps will only do for a short period of time.
Well I have to say that these reactions and accusations are not only wrong but based on people and businesses not understanding that they way business is now being done has and continues to change...drastically.
Having spent the better half of a year going dealership to dealership trying to sell and convince dealerships that this app will work I simply got tired of hitting the same roadblock. But I did learn a great deal about how and why dealerships operate the way they do.
I got feedback from the marketing side of dealerships and I saw the effects of their social media campaigns but most of all I came to the realization that no matter how hard you work at something sometimes you have to step back and look at things from a different perspective...so I did.
