The Super Bowl gains over 100 million viewers each year and each year the commercials become more imaginative, funny, sentimental, and risque. Let’s take a look at the best and worst Super Bowl Ads of 2013 and my top ten favorite commercials.
My Top Ten:
This commercial was so heartwarming that a tear came to my eye.
2. Whole Again
Again, this was another commercial that was heartwarming. It was also one that I could personally relate to as my father is a retired veteran.
3. Viva Young
This commercial made me laugh, from the awful gringo spanish singers to the old couple making out at a club.
I thought this was ingenious, mayhem from the start of history. Whomever came up with this idea should get a raise.
Another favorite, you can’t yell in a library!
Mercedes-Benz was clever here. You don’t need to give up your soul in order to own this vehicle.
7. Asking Amy
I love Amy Poehler, enough said.
Cute puppy? No it’s a wolf cub!
9. Night Vision
So that’s who has been eating all my wheat thins...damn Yeti!
10. Wishes Granted
Kelly Cucuoco is quickly becoming my favorite actress.
Commercials that made me think twice
I didn’t need to HEAR the kiss.
I’m not sure how that helps Calvin Klein sells underwear...oh wait.
I don’t understand how a guy from Minnesota has a Jamaican accent.
What happened to retiring gangnam style?
From bad CGI, to horrible looking shoes, this commercial was wrong on all levels.
Century 21 paid up to 4 million for a mother-in-law joke?
Why is Nemo serenading a bottle of beer?
