Under the hood, the Hexa gets a 2.2 liter 4-cylinder Varicor 400 diesel engine, which churns out maximum power of 150 PS and maximum torque of 320 Nm for the XE variant, and maximum power of 156 PS and maximum torque of 400 Nm for the XM and XT variants.
The Mahindra XUV, its top competitor, also comes with a 2.2 liter diesel engine, but can produce only 142 PS power and 330 Nm torque. Toyota Fortuner, which costs almost double of it, comes with a 2.8-liter diesel engine that churns out 177 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque.
The Hexa also comes loaded with a range of features that are considered exclusive for high-end premium SUVs only. In terms of safety, you get features like Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Hill Control, Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) etc., whereas, at the entertainment front, it features the Harmon Kardon touch-screen infotainment system with 10 JBL speakers across all variants.
