This has continues to increase, based on many variables. 5 years ago it was 10-15% of a dealers ad budget.
Due to the education by many industry experts, Al Gore's invention has continually shifted the focus. The last 18 months, the economic climate has forced many dealers to eliminate practically all traditional means of advertising (Newspaper, billboards, TV, Radio and son on...) and with their limited budget now, their SEO/SEM lead source expense could be as high as 70-75% of their overall budget.
