With 2011 U.S. auto sales figures hot off the press, the auto industry is seeing who came out on top, as well as what worked and what didn't. The 2011 Honda and Acura sales figures show that Paragon sold 7,749 Hondas last year, putting Paragon's Honda sales at a level 10% higher than the next best-selling U.S. Honda retailer. Paragon also sold 2,612 Acuras to net the company the top-spot among American Acura retailers.

Paragon's approach to retail sales enabled the company to beat a global downward trend in car sales. Last year, U.S. Honda new car sales were down a full 10% from the previous year, on account of the economic climate and a series of natural disasters in Japan. But despite this, Paragon Honda created an opposite trend, with a 9.5% increase in 2011 new car sales.
Paragon attributes its success to a combination of innovative buyer programs, as well as a focus on providing continually increasing service standards.
