Professional Community for Car Dealers, Automotive Marketers and Sales Managers
My first day of the NADA Convention in Orlando Florida, I was able to cover 1/3 of the floor. I knew at that point I needed to high step it if I wanted to get eye-balls on all the venders. I decided that I would go back the last morning of the show and collect video testimonials of the products I was interested in. it’s my hope that others of you have similar wants and needs in your dealership. I hope you find this helpful, so here is just a few Venders and products that I came across at 93rd NADA convention.
PCG Digital Marketing
The premise behind the CarPort App™, created by PCG Digital Marketing, is a simple one: Give car dealers a tool that will allow their "live" car inventory to be tastefully published alongside their online marketing content, blogs, social media activities and educational articles. Provide a strategy that compliments their SEO and social media strategies and drive more leads into their sales department. The CarPort App™ enables "live" selectable inventory to be added to all of your social media portals with listings that never go stale. Every visit to the page refreshes your inventory listing with the newest information in your inventory feed.
I have asked many venders why not have every sales person have heir own web site? Now with the importance of link building and blogging for SEO it makes even more sense. Here is a company that is doing it. Facebook, YouTube, and other social networking and video websites have become a part of our everyday lives, and millions of people use these sites to make friends, stay in touch, and get to know one another better. DealerMouth integrates with these popular tools to build the same kind of fun, friendly, personal connection between your sales and service staff and your customers into the car buying experience. Social marketing is a reality, and we make it easy. Let’s see what Jay has to say about it:
I ran into my old friend Tracy Myers the owner of Frank Myers Auto Maxx. I asked him what got his ear? What booth did he spend the most time in? I have a lot of respect for Tracy, when a new Do-It-Yourself digital strategy comes along he is one of the first to put it in play. Watch what he has to say:

I stopped by the dealer.com both to talk to Patrick Workman and he was showing me how they were streaming the NADA show from their both. The cool thing about Ustream it can be used by local dealers. You could steam video of the showroom, inventory, and service department. Watch how Patrick demonstrates how Dealer.Com embedded Upstream on their home page. You can too!
After gettng our Buick Point taken away this intested me very much. With the restructuring of the automotive industry many dealers have been displaced, lost their franchises but not their buildings and been put in a position of reinventing themselves. Many have had difficulty without having the proper infrastructure to support them. It was the vision of the AutoStar® Dealer Network to provide such infrastructure to insure dealer success through this transition by providing all of the structural elements and tools that existed with the dealer’s new vehicle franchises on a used vehicle basis.
