DRESS FOR SUCCESS
We're partnering with "Dress for Success," a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive and work in life.
If you would like to donate interview-appropriate women's clothing, shoes, jewelry and handbags that you no longer wear or use, you can donate these items to Dress for Success to provide professional clothing to low-income women who are trying to enter the workforce. Please bring your professional clothing or monetary donation to the Strategies for Success conference on Monday, November 16th, where they will be collected at the door.
Only job-appropriate women's suits, skirts, pants, shoes, jewelry, and handbags that are in good condition will be accepted. Attire should be appropriate to wear to work and something you would still feel comfortable wearing to an interview yourself. The donations must be dry-cleaned and pressed, on hangers, and ready to wear. All sizes are needed and appreciated! Dress for Success will also accept monetary donations of $5, $10, $20 or $50 to help support their Career Center and Professional Women's Group.
