*Ps... I first wrote this when I was still a "naturalist" and would draw or write everything out by hand and copy it through a printer to store it on my cpu. These days I got up with the times and now do everything on the cloud. Be I still miss the old days because it gave me complete control of my writing in the sense that I could just go off onto idea after idea after idea and still get back to the 1st one.
How Do you Create a Calendar Strategy
Easy..... First thing you need to get is a Calendar or do what we do over here.....
Get a BIG piece of paper and create 7 columns for each day of the week.
Each Row you create is for your Unique "News" Story of the day
- By News, it can be ANYTHING-
The weather, sports scores, dinner special, your favorite tv show, etc etc etc.....
You should know what your customers like and the "marketing" voice you promote in curating the best content for your readers and fans alike.

The hardest thing with Social Media and this comes with over 8 years of Internet Marketing experience, is "Consistency" .
It takes discipline and a proper Facebook Marketing Schedule to keep you on task - Here is a Scheduling example we created for a Restaurant - We used a very aggressive posting schedule with about 4-6 Status Updates per day for 90 days.
In the example below, each day has the same exact status update schedule - We always start with a Good Morning and from there we can add images, videos, etc to the posts - Content is very important in the morning, our rationale is that people want to consume information on their phones and tablets/laptops/cpu before their day gets settled in/started while eating breakfast or getting ready.
The schedule is super important because as you become proficient and organized it will train your Fans to expect certain posts at certain days and times.Facebook Marketing is about engagement but most importantly the content created that creates the total engagement is most important in my eyes.
Monday - Friday
a) Good Morning - am
b) Picture of Lunch Special and or/ Youtube Video/Notes App - before noon
c) Update of Dinner Special/Happy Hour/Night Event/YouTube if no Lunch/Local Weather - before 4
d) Picture of Dinner Special/Happy Hour Shot/Night Event - before 7
e) Dinner Shot/Happy Customers Shot/Staff Shot/Notes App/YouTube/Good Night - before midnite
