Great news I found the "Good leads" seriously I did. Now let me start with how this came to be, it all started with a one on one I was having with a sales consultant of mine. We've worked together for some time and he has the potential to be a great sales consultant, his numbers are up and down (gee never seen that before).
The conversation goes something like this.... I haven't got any "good leads" why does everybody else get good leads and I don't etc. You hear from just about any salesperson/internet manager that's underperforming. So I took the liberty to dig in a little deeper to his "lead problem" what I found was nothing new in this industry although new here as I had let him slip a little on his follow up. He was making the calls but not following all the way through, in fact if you consider that just like when you're face to face with a customer that they need to be asked at least 5 times to buy before they do (Leads can take even more attempts to even get their attention) he was calling 3-4 times and send a couple of emails.
My proposed fix for him was to stop selling himself short in essence he was stopping just 1-2 calls short of hitting payday in fact he was doing more work than the average salespeople who call just once if at all then never call again he was going almost to the end then falling off. So after we went through his leads we found something out ---he was getting "Good Leads" he just had to take the initiative to work 100% of his leads 100% of the time after all if there's a guest that's submitting a request for info and 1. the # is valid or 2. The email is valid technically it's a good lead we just have to turn it into a good appointment, give them a good first impression when they get here (car(s) clean and pulled up front,a good walkaround etc and turn them into a good delivery= a great customer.
So sorry for the title I didn't find the "good leads" but I did figure out which ones are the "bad" ones they're the ones you don't give your all to, that you don't call,email again and nurture even if they're not responding to you cause you never know which ones are gonna buy.
