A Facebook page is where your community gathers to discuss about like-minded content, such as automobiles or your local area. If you own a dealership, you need a Facebook page. However, having a Facebook page is not enough; you must update it often and learn how to use it to not only save time, but to get the best results.

1. Facebook Scheduling
Instead of relying on third-party apps, to update your Facebook page, you can use the Facebook “Scheduling Feature”. This feature allows you to schedule posts directly from your Facebook page.
Add content as you would normally to the page, but before hitting the “Post” button, click on the “Clock” icon to choose the exact date and time you wish for it to be posted, then click the “Schedule” button. Once scheduled, it can be found in your “Activity Log”, which you can access from the pop-up box that appears after you have scheduled a post. It is also under “Edit Page”, located at the top right-hand side of your Facebook page.

2. Edit Facebook Post Comments
Facebook allows you to edit comments you have made in Facebook posts. If an error is found after you have posted a comment, click on the “Pencil” icon located in the top right corner of the comment to edit or to delete it.
3. Reposition Facebook Photos and Text Within Posts
After posting an image on your Facebook page, you have the option to reposition the photo if it is too big or off-centered. Simply click on the arrow in the top right corner of your post and click “Reposition photo” from the drop down, to adjust your image.
4. Facebook Post Embedding
Facebook allows you to add a code for a specific post to your website to increase page and post likes. After you have posted on your Facebook page, click on the arrow in the top right corner of the post. Choose “Embed Post” from the drop down. You will be presented with a code for that post, which you can add to your website.

5. Facebook Text To Like Feature
Facebook has a text to like feature, which provides dealerships the opportunity to increase page likes by simply asking your community to text the username of your page.
Users will need to have their Facebook mobile settings set-up, found under “Account Settings”.
When users have this setup, they can Text the word – Like and your page username – to FBOOK (32665). Users will not only automatically like your Facebook page, but they will also get notifications from your brand to their mobile phone, which they can unsubscribe from at any time.
