This week Facebook released new functionality for business pages giving them the ability to create a 60 second video showcasing their business story. (https://yourbusinessstory.fb.com/en/) I was so excited I jumped right in and created mine without much thought at all. They make it too easy. After I did it for a couple pages I realized this is a great opportunity to get a message across to potential clients. Why not put a little more effort into it and maximize the potential of this feature?
My suggestion is watch a few of these videos, they are everywhere so it shouldn't be tough to find. You have the opportunity to choose 8 photos from your Facebook page. Plan ahead, choose 8 impactful photos. I would recommend even uploading an album of the photos you want to use. Don't limit your choices to what's already on Facebook. The last opportunity you have is the message the video delivers. It reads "We are in the business of...." It's one line. What can you say about your business in one line? I suggest a little thought here too instead of what your first reaction is.
This is a fun little feature and I am not suggesting that you spend a large amount of time on this. I liked the feature enough to create one and I like you enough to share what I would do differently next time. Have fun with it.
