Facebook recently released a new and improved method for targeting potential customers through their site. The tool has enhanced Facebook’s Power Editor and given advertisers the opportunity to choose from over 500 categories.
With Facebook’s Power Editor there are nearly endless possibilities to target your target customers. Utilizing data from partner agencies, dealerships are now able to target consumers by body style, Manufacturer, and even vehicle age.
Another feature is your ability to know how many people will see your ad. For example, if you’re targeting consumers who would like to lease a sedan within 20 miles of your dealership, you can tell if you’ve targeted too far and aren’t being visible enough. The opposite is true for this feature as well with the ability to see if your ad is too broad.
Facebook is quickly becoming a powerhouse for advertisers, especially in the automotive industry.
