Automotive Marketing Professional Community for Car Dealers, OEM and Suppliers
I had my "It's a Wonderful Life" George Bailey moment today: If I wasn't around and had never been born, my dealer's OEM website vendor would have been able to sell a monster PPC campaign because she's "done one for her husband's small business" using the $100 Google Small Business PPC Gift Card they got in the mail, my dealer's Google Reviews would be adrift in a sea of shyster "review boosters", and some SEO charlatans would've sold my dealer some blogging probably sourced from the former states of the dismantled Soviet Union. The local newspaper would be solely in operation to support the Last Dealer Printing Large Ads (mine), the dealer's main website vendor would have sold my dealer more template websites with pages that would have to look up to see the bottom of the worst SEO effort, and untrackable direct mail would still be $10k or so a quarter. And all of this would be sold on behalf of "Old Mr. Potter", more or less, in keeping with my comparison.
However, I looked in my pocket today, and I found "Zuzu's petals" . . . and so think about this, all you professionals, and let me say "Hat's off to you all!". You are the best and the brightest here on ADM, and I'm very proud to be a part of this, the best online community for Automotive Marketing Professionals in existence. When I look at our roster of 5k members, I see names from those who minted this marketplace, to those who lead the way to online success like no others. I've added both great knowledge and great friends by being here.
Thank you all: Without you, Zuzu's petals would not be around for me. Or my dealer. Or, really, any successful dealer.
