Driving Sales Executive Summit - An Automotive SEO Teaser

One of the things that we learned at the Driving Sales Executive Summit in Las Vegas this month was that good automotive SEO has one primary way of getting done. Despite the desire for Brian Pasch, Paul Rushing, and JD Rucker to get into a heated debate with battle axes and crossbows, the discussion with the three of us on stage was, for all intents and purposes, tame.

The reason for this is simple. There's a right way and many wrong ways to do automotive SEO. There might be slight variations and opinions, but in the end it comes down to quality content and quality inbound links. There are other factors, but the three of us were in agreement that automotive SEO is a simple formula:

Content + Inbound Links = Better Rankings.

Here is a teaser video with the first 5 minutes from the discussion. Despite the desires of the crowd to see modern warfare portrayed between the three of us, it turned out to simply be a good, informative session.

Thanks to those who watched, and thanks to Paul and Brian for keeping it all clean!

Great job to each of you - Jared put together a strong event and your contribution was among the highlights.

Paul - nice to see you again; JD & Brian - it was great to finally meet and hang out for a while. Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

The three of us just finished up an hour + meeting to prepare for us continuing this conversation. We are looking forward to it being a weekly online conference. We will post the details of the when and where as soon as we nail it down for the community here to participate.

JD, Thank you for the blog post! I know a lot of the 2,800+ ADM Members appreciate your contributions and insight. And thank you for the guidance, discussions and strategies you so generously shared with me in Atlanta and Las Vegas over the past couple of weeks. I always respected your "street cred" but after meeting you in person I am more respectful of your knowledge and insights than before.

This was such a fascinating panel session that I left my table to move up front with my Flipcam, although not as good as this clip, there are several clips I uploaded to ADM that go beyond the first five minutes:

Driving Sales Executive Summit was a great opportunity for all in attendance. I was honored to share the stage with two people that are leaders in SEO and Social Media. If anyone is looking for a hands-on SEO workshop, you are invited to attend my seminar at Digital Dealer Conference in Nashville on November 1st.
