One of the founding tenets of Dealers United is that our Member-Dealers will ALWAYS be GUARANTEED the LOWEST price, and BEST terms and conditions for every deal. We stand by that; and we demand this be written into every vendor agreement.
Yesterday, one of our members discovered a lower price than their current deal with a signed vendor. The price was only $38 below the Dealers United Members’ Only Price and it was for a long-term contract, but it is important to us to ensure every member gets THE lowest price, not close to the lowest price. We strive to make every deal a win-win-win for Dealers United, our vendor-partners, and especially our Member-Dealers.
By contract, the vendor would need only to reduce the member price to the lowest price offered, in this case a $38 deduction. But in an act of good faith by the vendor, they extended an even deeper discount to members who had purchased the deal; reducing the final price $139 lower than the original Dealer-Member offer.
We decided to write this post not as a way to vilify the provider, but rather to hold them up as a shining example of the ways Dealers United and our vendor-partners work together to help our Dealer Members and the industry as a whole.
