Autoweek reported today that Black Book data for February shows only four of the 14 styles of trucks dropped in value when compared with February 2012, with all other used trucks showing an increase during the same time frame.
According to the article, compact SUVs jumped a whopping 17.2 percent, with full-size cargo vans, full-size SUVs and pickups posting increases of 9.4, 8.4 and nearly 5 percent, respectively.
It will be interesting to see if fuel prices crossing the $4 per gallon threshold again affects values, but for now, buyers seem to be stepping up, and so will dealers if they want these vehicles on their lots.
