It’s hard to think there could be anymore ways to market your business these days.  With all of the help from search engines, YouTube, Facebook and traditional marketing outlets, most would assume you are getting the best bang for your buck.  But there is one way to market your automotive business that many don’t think about.

 

Free-lance marketing is a great tool to not only promote your business but help out clients and people in need.  For example, a young man in the UK who was born missing his left hand, wrote a letter to Mercedes and asked if they would be willing to purchase him a top of the line Bionic Prosthetic.  Now I know what you might be thinking, how does this benefit the business at all?  Matthew James, the young man with the disability, got creative and offered in return sponsorship space for the Mercedes company on his new arm.  Not only did Mercedes jump at the chance, but through the process discovered that the i-LIMB technology is a close mirror to the technology they use for their Formula One racing equipment.  Now Mercedes has a marketing platform on one of the most advanced Bionic limbs in the world and a possible working relationship with the company for future technology.

 

There are lots of other Free-lance marketers out there, like retired couples who want to venture out and see the states in their enormous RVs.  Many of them would be willing to act as moving billboards to earn extra money for their trip costs.  Think about the exposure a venture like that could boost your automotive sales.  Your company will be promoted all around the country for a nominal fee compared to what is spent on traditional and digital campaigns.  Now I am not saying that you should stop your advertising campaigns and start investing in Bionic i-LIMBs, but it is something to think about.  Sometimes the most inexpensive and creative ideas for your automotive marketing strategy are ones that will benefit others in life as well and create great PR for your brand.
