Vinyl wrapping your vehicle is a unique and different look.
It will also protect your paint against fading, scratches and rock chips as well as many other harsh elements.  Vinyl wrap is 100% removable and when you do remove your original paint is in perfect condition.  It can add to the resell value of your car.

Here are some other benefits of Vinyl Wrap.

  • Warranties and /or lease agreements remain valid. Painting your car can void warranties.
  • The cost for a wrap is a lot less (almost half) than a similar paint job.
  • Many of the wrap styles out there cannot be reproduced by paint.
  • Vinyl comes in a variety of colors and finishes. Matte, semi-gloss, gloss, brushed steel or aluminum, carbon fiber, matte metallic, chrome, gold, and now chameleon colors.
  • It's hard to tell if it's paint or not.
  • You don't have to wrap the whole car, you can just do exterior trim pieces or inside trim pieces to change the whole look of the car.
  • Vinyl wrap can hide scratches, small chips, and faded paint.

How long does it take to wrap a car?

Wrapping a car can vary in times depending on the size of the car and the complexity of it.  Vehicle's with more curves will take a lot longer.  Expect to leave your car at least 2-3 days.  Due to the nature of the adhesive on the vinyl and complexity there is a 12-24 hour "rest period" after applying the wrap to fully adhere to the car.  During this time it's not a good idea to drive the car.

What tools are used to vinyl wrap?

Here at Superior Auto Image we use a knifeless tape system. Guaranteed a perfect cut without cutting or damaging the paint.  Also used is a heat gun to help stretch and soften the vinyl to get a more accurate fit, especially on those hard curves or around door handles, roof antenna's , spoilers and side view mirrors.
