Due to hazards associated with the auto-parts-supplier industry, OSHA has launched a Regional Emphasis Program (REP) to improve conditions. The inspection program will last through January 2015, and will cover Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.
Most auto-parts suppliers can expect a comprehensive OSHA inspection within the next two years. Inspections will begin 30 days after notification letters have been mailed to applicable employers. At this point employers can contact their personal Environment and Safety consultants for onsite visits, or can contact OSHA’s consultation service providers. Any consultations provided by OSHA will be independent from the inspections and will not result in penalties, only education.

It’s big news! If all the auto-parts suppliers are being inspected then we’ll get only the authorized parts and that way no supplier could fraud with us. Though I already do deal with an authorized dealer of used parts which offers me great deals. The place is called http://buyusedengine.com/index.php.
