Audience profiling is a highly useful technique employed by marketers in general. For automotive mobile marketing professionals audience profiling and targeting is a must. In this installment of my series on the demographics and behavior of auto mobile users, I examine the different personas or buyer types who use their mobile phones to search and shop in the auto category and subcategories.
Though interest in the Auto category is largely male-dominated, a variety of common profiles were revealed ranging in gender, age and Auto-related intensions. These profiles are key to effectively reaching Auto consumers relevant to their specific user needs and intent.
