Go NEW! Avoid the Annual Training of the Lemmings

Don't attend a single conference.  Cry and whine that there are too many conferences, too much education, same people presenting, waah waah waah.  

If you think the same people are presenting the same old thing in the same old way at the same old places . . . then why go to those same old places?  Or, for that matter, to ANY conference?  The beer?  A vacation?  Really??

Well, it's my work to help make the conference I'm supporting both different AND better.  Best, really.  And that's AutoCON2012.

I won't tell you that the other conferences suck.  Some of them are really great!  However, some of them are also depending on the years you've had at their Annual Training of the Lemmings to attend and nod at the same old folks on the same old tune.  Snoozeroo!

Well, wake the hell up before you go over the cliff and into the sea with the rest of the lemmings.  Attend a great conference, not a habitual conference.  Don't join an old chorus of whining about conferences, and instead attend a new conference to actually learn something valuable--and from people who KNOW they have to differentiate and deliver great value because they are NEW.  And are committed to that delivery.

Because AutoCON2012 can't afford to suck.  We have to deliver the highest value.  100%.  And we will.

Keith, as I am sure you understand, I could not agree with you more and sincerely appreciate the support you and so many other automotive professionals are giving to AutoCon 2012... When Chris Saraceno, Mike Myers and I first conceived of this event we made a commitment to innovation and a participatory management style that would accommodate the ideas and willingness to act from a variety of sources.  We wanted to bring in fresh ideas and new ways for dealers to establish a competitive advantage, which is among the many reasons we invested a lot of money to get Lon Safko's involvement.  We also have taken a long term approach to AutoCon with all the sponsorship money being used to drive dealer attendance and fund full ride scholarships for ADM and dealerELITE members who would otherwise not be able to attend, to get there.  We are doing AutoCon for all the right reasons and there are now over 100 people involved with ensuring the success and value received from this event.  New, fresh, exciting and embracing the camaraderie that makes the car business one of the most "Connected" industries in America... That's what AutoCon is about; serving dealers and automotive professionals!
