An AskPatty Christmas Tale...
'Twas the night before Christmas, and at the North Pole
Old Santa was pacing a path through the snow
On his rosy cheeks he now wore a frown;
His new fancy sleigh had just broken down.
It had heating and air, GPS, leather seats,
and a 200 Reindeer-Power Five Speed.
All the bells and the whistles Father Christmas could use,
But tonight it just sputtered and coughed and refused.
He'd checked all his fluids, and all was in order,
He'd just had it serviced by elves at the border!
But now he just sat, bewildered, and scoffed
"It's no use," he thought, "this Christmas is off!"
When then from the mansion there arose such a clatter
As Mrs. Claus came to see what was the matter
"I've checked all the gizmos, the gyros, and gadgets,
I've pushed every button and switch, and I've had it!"
But the little old lady, so lively and quick,
Went straight to the sleigh and ignored old St. Nick.
She pulled out a wrench from her bustle, so smug,
and said "Why my dear, it's just your spark plug."
He sprang to his sleigh, to his wife gave a kiss,
And asked "But my love, how did you do this?".
Mrs. Claus smiled, placing the wrench in his palm
"With just a little help from AskPatty.com!"
"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! on Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!"
She revved up the engine, gave Santa a peck
And thus saw him off on his annual trek.
From the North Pole to your home, hear Mrs. Claus' call:
"A smart, savvy Christmas to women one and all!"
Happy Holidays, from all of us at AskPatty.Com
