You’ve spent time and money creating an app for your dealership, but it won’t do any good if no one downloads it. Follow these three steps and learn how to spread the word on your mobile app and get the results you need!

Step 1: Start the process!

One of the most important things you can do after your new app launches is to educate your employees about the benefits of using the app. Have each of your employees download the app to their own smartphone so they can show their customers just how easy it is to use.

Use time that customers spend waiting to help them download the app and show them how to use it. You can even help them schedule their next maintenance appointment while they wait.

Step 2: Tell your friends!

You spend time cultivating your contact list, now it’s time to use it! Send an email to your customer list introducing the new app. Be sure to include instructions on how to download the app for different types of phones as well as links to the compatible app and tell them why the new app will benefit them.Reach people who are already browsing your mobile site by adding a prominent ‘Download our App’ button at the top of the homepage. People who are already browsing your website on their smart phone will appreciate a better browsing environment for their phone.
Use Social Media to spread the word! Post a link to the app on your Facebook, Twitter, Blog and anywhere else you have a following.

Step 3: Get creative!
