Loading... Be Patient!

Good afternoon fellow Automotive Professionals,

I have a question for anyone that would like to comment. Our dealership, Crest Auto World, is going to be switching website providers before the end of the year. As of now, we've narrowed it down to two providers, either or KPA/TK Carsites. I'm looking for some input on what you all think would be the better choice, either based on your personal experience or by word of mouth.

I reviewed Ward's 2011 e-Dealer 100 List and 67 of the 100 Dealerships are hosted by, however, TK Carsites hosts the #1 Dealership on this List.

I also came across the Fall 2012 Digital Dealer Website Excellence Award Winners and DealerOn is the website solutions provider for 5 of the 10 website winners. Then comes ClickMotive with 3 and with 2.

We're waiting for our AutoTrader Rep to return from Digital Dealer before we make our final decision. I think that tomorrow, however, I might have to check out DealerOn and ClickMotive. We want to make sure that we sign with the best Automotive Website Vendor that's available.

Any input, advice and information that any of you Professionals can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!!

Thanks for the information guys!

Brian: Thanks for the link to the 2012 Automotive Website Award Winners :-)

I've looked at MANY dealership websites and there's a lot of great providers available right now for the automotive field. Obviously I've found some sites that I like better than others. They're all going to have different strengths and weaknesses, it's all about finding the right fit for our dealership.

Meaghan, you might also want to refer to the 2012 Automotive Website Award Top 10, which can be found at

I have had experiences with a number of website providers such as Cobalt, DealerOn, TK Carsites, and Many of these website providers do a fantastic job providing dealerships with the tools they need to market their vehicle inventory and Fixed Ops. This said however, I would recommend In my opinion provides the dealer with superb tech support, Real-time control over your website, easy-to-use Control Center, a user friendly site & custom page building interface, their Inventory Management tool is very easy to use, and integrates very well with ADP/DMS. Most importantly visitors to a website seem to have a better shopping experience, be it from a PC, Tablet, or Smart Phone.
