Reputation Management and Review Sites

How to Recover Reputation from Negative Reviews

More than half of all online consumers – sixty-one percent, to be precise – read online reviews before deciding whether to make a purchase. Reputation: The BIG Blue Sky of Your Dealership!

I've long fought for dealers to know and improve their reputation, but the reputation of the industry always felt like it was holding dealers back.  It is very frustrating!  As I've often put it, the fly pushing on the butt of the elephant doesn't mean it's driving, it only means it is lucky the elephant is going it's…

Where did my Yelp Reviews go?

As I write this article, I am in literally sitting at an Internet Sales 20 Group where my colleagues and I are sharing best practices with over 50 dealers.  It seems that auto dealers are concerned more about their online reputation now than ever before.  While it is great to see dealers place a focus on it there still needs to be a structure in place that will create a strong reputation for the dealership.  Once a structure is in place, managing an online reputation is actually a very…

Update Your Dealership’s Address and Location Online Frequently

Yesterday I was on my way to a meeting at a dealership.  I had left the home office earlier so I can be at the meeting earlier especially since it was an 80 mile ride.  I was within three miles of the dealership and thirty minutes early.  I had never been there before I relied on my GPS as I always do.  The GPS that I use comes from my iPhone and the software is less than a week old as I just updated the operating system.

The GPS was pulling in an address from…
