Blogher.com and J D Power asked both men and women to describe their range of emotions while going through the automotive purchasing cycle. My Dad is still driving at 85 years old and is one of the big reasons I love cars! My Dad did not own a car at all until he was he was 33 years old. Owning a car was a luxury item for a post WWII blue collar family man in the 1950's, he car-pooled to work for years. For the past several months, you can’t turn on the TV, glance at the Internet or flip through the pages of a newspaper without seeing a story or two about the dismal state of the auto makers and local market dealerships trying to survive or not.
