ADM serves Car Dealers, Automotive Marketing Pros and Internet Sales Managers
Please give me your input!!
We are trying to start up a BDC team slowly!
Right now we just hired an employee to handel the Service calls. She is calling recall customers and people who havn't come in for their first service.
I am trying to set up a pay plan and I am also trying to set up goals.
We are a small dealership in East Texas so please keep that in mind.

Something else that has often struck me in vehicle retail are the “forensic vendors”, all providing CSI-like “after the sale was prevented” information. Recorded calls that show how badly the call was bungled. CRM reports that list who wasn’t called back for the last three days. And the latest, Reputation Management reports that show you how much folks have already disliked you.…Continue

When was the last time you worked with a manager and said, “that person is a great leader”? Early in my career, I can honestly say I learned more about what kind of leader I didn’t want to be rather than the kind I do want to be. Unfortunately, I found myself learning and practicing management traits of those poor leaders. It wasn’t until someone cared about me enough to tell me “you’re a prick to people at times” that I realized I needed to do something about…Continue
It's no wonder that car dealers are often confused at the myriad of digital marketing tools and solutions that are offered to them. Every time I open a trade publication I see a new vendor offering Automotive SEO, Chat, Video Optimization, Social Media and SEM software that claim to make their digital marketing efforts more effective.
As PCG Digital Marketing has expanded its own offerings to car dealers, none…

It’s hard to believe, but true: dealerships are leaving almost a million dollars per store, on average, per year in accessories sales literally on the showroom floor. At a time when dealership profits are being squeezed like never before, one of the highest margin opportunities available – vehicle accessories sales – simply isn’t being
leveraged in most…

Its 9 pm and I get this tweet from Matt Watson of VIN Solutions.
“Saving Chevrolet Means Sending ‘Chevy’ to Dump http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/10/automobiles/10chevy.html?src=mv “
When I clicked the link and started reading the article, I found myself saying “WHAT!” There are no words to describe the level of ridiculous here. GM doesn’t have a brand recognition problem. GM has a business…

When I woke this morning,
I ‘strapped on’ a correct, positive mindset,
Much like a soldier going into battle.
Which is what being in sales today is like.
(That is no disrespect to our true heroes.)
I took stock of yesterday’s successes &…
Great news in the automotive advertising world this week. According to the Wall Street Journal, General Motors (GM) is returning to the Super Bowl after going two years without producing any commercials for the big game. Even better is that the WSJ is also reporting that automakers ranging from Hyundai to Volkswagen are also putting up money for some uber-expensive ad…Continue

I would love to hear your thoughts on live online chat on your websites. Do you think it is viable? Have you had or are you currently involved with a chat company? The good bad and the ugly...Somebody tell me why not every dealer in the world would not want to "talk" to every visitor on their website(s).
Should you own your name in Paid Search?
The short answer is Yes.
I’ve heard both sides of the argument, but recently released research makes the topic relevant again.
