I hope this isn't viewed as a promotional post. Those that know me know I'm not a fan of using the forums as an overt sales tool, but this is big news for the industry and worthy of discussion here on ADM. I want to make myself available to you if you have any questions regarding this partnership.Automotive News covered the story last night and also covered it in the First Shift newscast this morning as well:…See More

"Just playing around Louie... :-) You're right about the PC stuff, that doesn't seems to work in the auto biz. Except at the corporate support level."

ADM is a Professional Network, describe YOUR Value Proposition... "Why should anyone do business with you?"
There are two kinds of people that are very interested in Online Reviews of your Dealership. The first set is the people that are considering buying from you or using you for service. The second set of people are the ones that had a not so great experience at your store and want to shout about it from the virtual rooftops. You don't want these two groups socializing at your virtual cocktail party.

Your customers are actively searching for peer reviews of you and your business. Do you want to be proactive and effectively manage your Online Reputation by insulating those negative reviews with a ton of positive ones or do you want to be reactive to a very vocal minority intent on discrediting your good name?
What will YOU contribute to the ADM Community?
You bet! I'm passionate about helping the good guys and gals out there find creative ways to break through the "greasy car sales" stereotypes. I've had the pleasure of working closely with some GREAT people that happen to sell cars for a living. It makes me crazy that they don't get the respect they deserve.

Are you still paying for fake likes?

I came across this scathing opinion piece on Facebook advertising and I'd like to share it with the community for discussion. I'm admittedly not extremely well versed on Facebook ads, but this video seems to make a clear and concise case for questioning the effectiveness of buying likes through sponsored ads. What do you think?

Are you a Boss or a Leader?

A member of my team sent this picture to me this morning:

For those of you with direct reports, how important is it to your department that you are seen as the "leader" as opposed to the "boss?" Is there ever a case that being the "boss" is beneficial, or is it always a detriment to the…

For those of you that attended Brian Benstock's excellent session at AutoCon, here is a visual aide:

Brian's point was that focusing on one KPI at the expense of others is NOT success. If this guy's biceps represent gross and his calf's represent turn, there is an obvious imbalance for management to…

Hi Ryan, Thank you but I'm skipping NADA this year so I can go to the Digital Dealer Conference in April.  I'd go to both if I could but...  Hope to meet you in April if you go.  Enjoy Vegas!
