I started in sales at Dry Ridge Toyota in 1989, becoming the new car manager in 1993 at the age of 23. I left in 1997 to become the General Sales Manager of Kerry Toyota. In 2001, after a brief stay at Joseph Chevrolet as a Closer, I helped my father open a used car dealership. A year later, I went back to Dry Ridge Toyota as a Finance Director and desk man. In 2003, I worked as a General Manager for Maysville Chrysler. In 2004, I went to work as a consultant for Reynolds & Reynolds. Three years later, in March of 2007, I went to work for myself. For the next year and a half, I have been a corporate trainer, hosted several sales events with my good friend, Steve Jacobs at McMahon Ford, and conducted several sales training classes at various dealerships. I also created a desking software solution (Autodesking - and corresponding sales process. Now, I am a Performance Manager for vAuto. Basically I consult with dealerships to help them use the vAuto tools so they can effectively price their vehicles competitively in the marketplace. vAuto will "look" at competitive vehicles in the marketplace, via the internet, relay the information to the UCM or Internet department at the dealership, so the dealership can price that vehicle competitively in order to obtain a good internet price ranking. Once that happens, internet traffic, floor traffic, and phone traffic will increase on that vehicle. vAuto also has an appraisal tool to help dealers appraise vehicles based on their profit objective and internet ranking objective, as well as a Stocking tool that will help dealers stock the "right" kind of vehicles in the first place, such as high volume & fast moving vehicles in their respective marketplaces.

Nice to see you here. Hope all is well with you. Congradulations on the Desking software. I have also spent the last couple of years creating a software products. It's awesome to help dealers with technology designed to assist them in selling more cars.
