I have spent the last 15 years in the automotive industry. I have carried many positions in those years including,sales consultant,Business Manager,Used car Manager,Sales Manager, Whole saler and Owner. My latest challenge has been creating a highly effective BDC. I love people and I enjoy a good challenge. Most people enjoy doing business with me because every thing I do has a purpose, I always treat people with respect and I truly appreciate others time and effort.

Before I entered the Auto industry I managed a Mortgage company. The majority of our customers would make their largest decision of there lives. Purchasing a home and refinancing a loan is the largest decision a person will make. We would do 95% of our business over the phone so it was extremely important to developed excellent phone skills.
A person second largest decision is the car or truck that the plan to own. With some training and trial and error I have implemented a BDC that handles all inbound sales call,internet leads and calls on all unsold traffic (UST). We are pacing to make appointment 65% for phone ups. Internet we are making appointments 55% of the time with in the First 15 mins of the lead coming in and have a 120 day lead process in place. UST we get 50% back in the door. Of the appointments made over 50% show and we average 50% to 53 % of the dealerships business and its growing. The power of the phone is amazing we don't list are prices on line or do we quote over the phone.

I have a question regarding BDC Manager Pay plans

I wanted to get some ideas from fellow BDC Managers as to what is a fair pay plan that rewords mangers for bringing in more customers and ultimately more sales. The dealership has 1 manager with 4 BDR. The team handles all inbound sales calls, internet leads, Unsold traffic and campaign calls .The manager does all aspects of running and developing BDC.
