What will YOU contribute to the ADM Community?
I bring 4 years of Automotive Sales and more than 6 years of Customer Service experience to our department. I began working at Ron Tonkin Kia as a Sales Consultant in August 2006 at 19 years old; I was moved into the Internet Department in April 2008 and am now managing a good chunk of our Marketing and Networking.

I currently manage our Social Networking and YouTube video walkarounds. You might consider me a Public Relations Liaison, as I am a link between our dealership and the public. I have built our MySpace, FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube and a few pages on Squidoo to help reach and build a more “personal” experience with our clients.

Although I have only been working in the business for about 4 years, I was literally born into it. My father sold Hondas and Nissans in the late 80s and in 1994 my Parents opened a dealership in-between Springfield and Eugene; Hixon Family Auto and RV.

When I was about 4 years old I had figured out the concept of driving and began telling my dad how to drive; “Do this”- shift into 5th gear “and Do 125“. Although a “hardbody” Nissan Pickup probably couldn’t do 125 I wanted it to.

I am a car addict and enjoy all aspects of this business, vehicles are more than a hobby to me they are my passion. I follow the same motto as our corporation “For the Love of Cars!” I read as much as I can about them: all makes, models, new and old. I want to know everything, it’s a personal goal of mine to know it all.

Nope. I am suggesting that you open your own agency/consulting firm as an affiliated office as part of a national network of independent automotive advertising agencies specialing in the technology sector. The leverage of $500,000,000 in conventional media through our JV with JL Media combined with our network of production partners including radio/TV and print for conventional media and digital resources for data base and online marketing is coupled with the many vendor clients that we represent allowing you to hit the ground running with the shared resources of our network. After all, what are friends for!

Hi Josh,

In response to your inquiry on my post regarding the use of video -- sure, I have an equity position in SiSTeR Technologies and they are a vendor client of mine as is ronsmap, Argistics and many other cutting edge automotive advertising vendors referenced in my articles for obvious reasons. I only work directly with company principals so of course I know them all - and then some. My agency relationship with them may seem self serving but the truth is that it merely means that I shared your respect and value for them and I decided to approach them for me and my dealer/agency/vendor clients before you did. I guess that great minds think alike.

I suggest that rather than approach any one of them to represent them individually that you may want to consider approaching them all as an Ad Agency Online independent affiliated office. I am always looking for working partners to extend our services to both auto dealers and technology based automotive advertising vendors so - let's talk!

After all, what are friends for. Call me at my office, 561-962-2738, or my cell, 561-231-4300 or this weekend at my home, 561-362-4133 or emaile directly at pzads@bellsouth.net . If you can't reach me at any of those contacts I am dead and I probably don't care anymore!
