As with most successful, innovative businesses, the vision behind the company came from a creative, out-of-the-box thinker. John Wingle, Founder and CEO of OnSight Solutions, combined a number of seemingly disparate abilities and experiences and developed a unique and highly effective merchandising service that penetrated a virtually untapped market in the automotive sales industry. John had a talent for graphic design, a widely varied business background, and significant sales experience. He also had a thorough knowledge of the automotive sales industry, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Add hungry to that mix, and the result was a small, one-man company, with a hefty business plan.

John officially began doing business in February of 2002, and he proceeded to establish a strong presence in the Albany, NY automotive sales market over the next couple of years. From the beginning, the response from auto dealers and the results they continued to experience were very positive, to say the least. As word spread, numerous "extremely interested" potential investors entered the picture but, none seemed quite ready to commit to such a seemingly "new" concept.

That all changed, in the early Spring of 2004, when John had a serendipitous meeting with Tim Lindsay on a dealership lot in Albany, NY. John and Tim had worked together in years past, and while they had lost contact for the most part, they maintained a high level of mutual respect. This chance meeting resulted in a newly formed business partnership at an Albany, NY diner 2 days later.

Shortly thereafter, the "home office" turned into commercial office space and the "tabletop printer in the dining room" turned into a full scale production department. John and Tim got, literally and figuratively, busy. By late Summer of 2004, business was even better than projected, and it became clear that John's hefty business plan was on the verge of becoming reality. John and Tim began to further develop the philosophy and methodology behind the business, and they began seeking out additional partners in contemplation of a national expansion.

Things just start to flow, sometimes. With exceptional vision, entrepreneurial spirit and a tremendous amount of industry related experiences, George Roberts and Tom Butz came on board in the Fall of 2004. Their entry into the business helped provide not only the necessary capital for expansion, but also significant experience in national franchising and professional marketing. The four partners formed a new, highly energized team and began planning the company's expansion strategy, developing the franchising plan, and refining the logistics of business operations.

OnSight Solutions, in partnership with a growing network of independent franchise owners, continues to lead the way in bringing the most dynamic and unique visual merchandising service ever available to the automotive sales industry. Today, market penetration has already been achieved in fifteen states as our client base, currently approaching 1,500 auto dealerships, continues to expand exponentially. Best of all, we're just getting started.
