Auto Corridor Consulting Team empowers clusters of family-owned dealerships, primarily in older suburbs, to work together to improve the overall district in which they are located. We have experience creating business improvement districts that leverage local, state and federal money to reduce blight, attract new businesses to the area and create a branded, must see destination in which all dealerships can better succeed. We believe that commercial districts anchored by a critical mass of new car dealership, create the foundation for effective collection action.

Car dealers do a great job with internal issues, as demonstrated by the nature of ADM members. But most dealerships are not active participants in civic issues. They often do not work together well to solve problems like zoning, regulations, leveraging federal and state money for transportation changes, sign regulations, and more. This is in spite of the fact that they are large employers who spend money in the local community and pay wages higher than most sectors. Beyond that, they fail to implement collective marketing strategies, including cooperative advertising and events marketing that builds traffic.

My passion is harnessing the creativity of dealerships in clusters to create branded, must-see destinations. I have 25 years of experience in reinenting and recyling older urban areas, and it is now time that we adapt these strategies to commercial strips anchored by a critical mass of dealerships.
