Craigslist / Ebay Motors Issues

For a couple of months now we have been posting auctions to Ebay for some aged and specialized inventory with little to no action.  I am wondering if anyone has any particular strategies or processes they use that have shown some success or is it better to place more focus and concentration to third party providers like Autotrader and Cars, we currently use these services and although we have a tough time correlating sales we do see marketable effectiveness.
