It is great to see you here... I am in my home office all week working on several Digital Marketing proposals after one of those too-much-travel weeks facilitating Digital Advertising Dealer Summits that started in Phoenix, then Dallas, followed by Houston on Thursday and finishing with a Summit Meeting in San Antonio, TX. I am in my home office preparing for next week's gun fight and trying to get caught up on expense reports.

On behalf of both myself, and the rest of the 1,450+ member ADM family, welcome to our online community and file sharing repository... We are very happy to see you have joined our community of automotive marketing and sales professionals.

Please take a moment to share some more information about yourself and your professional role. More information links, some blog postings with PPT, XLS, DOC and PDF files attached are particularly welcome. And of course we all love to see and listen to your music, photo and video uploads. I pay extra for additional server storage capacity for ADM and any valuable content you upload to make use of it is all appreciated.

Please note that you can upload documents into any blog post, forum discussion, group, comments and other sections for ADM members to download. There are already hundreds of PowerPoints, Excel Spreadsheets, Word Doc's, PDF files and more... We would be thrilled to get you to upload a few of yours to share with the community.

VERY IMPORTANT - All of us at ADM very much appreciate that you took the time to complete your profile section by uploading a photo of yourself. Based on what i have seen since starting the ADM Professional Community at the beginning of 2008, I can promise you that you'll get more out of ADM when other members see that you have uploaded a profile photo!

I love seeing more and more automotive professionals and auto industry colleagues like yourself join the ADM community... When I checked the membership section a moment ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see that as of today, and thanks to your enrollment we are now up to over 1,450 automotive sales and marketing professionals who have joined the ADM Community... Amazing support from an amazing industry... Makes the aggravation of flying around the country with a guy sitting next to me who keeps sticking his elbow into my ribs, somehow worth it!

I served as a Captain in the U.S. Army at Fort Bliss for 5 years before turning to a professional sales career, starting with Johnson & Johnson for over 5 years. After that, I started a distributorship for a start-up company based in Austin, and was called upon to develop a training outline and present much of the training for the national sales force at our 1st national sales meeting.

I ran that for 3 years before the manufacturer successfully ran off the companies we were distributing for, so I sold off what was left of the company and joined a new Toyota store as a sales person. I was promoted to Internet Director at Toyota of Lewisville a few months later not knowing which way was up.

For the first several months, with the help of a number of vendors like John Marzilliano, Drew Pickard and Shellee Brownlee, I drank from a fire hydrant trying to learn the e-commerce aspect of the business. With diligence and hard work, we grew from 35 units/month to over 110 consistently.

After a couple of years there (and several pay plan changes), I was recruited to another locally owned Toyota store in Irving, where, once again, I took an underperforming department averaging around 45-55 units to consistently over 100 units/month.

From there, I was recruited to a family owned GM store in a rural area of North Texas. This store has been in the family for over 75 years ( www.brownmotor.com ) which had been averaging 40-45 units/month. Working closely with a good friend who was the used car manager, we tripled the stores' sales to 120 this past January.

Now, a lot closer to home, I was recruited to take over an underperforming department in the Highland Park area of Dallas
